1. The Financial award component is only applicable to the Homecoming King and Queen winners.
2. The two (2) $1,500 grants for this year’s Homecoming Court are one-time payments of $1,500 each (i.e., they're NOT split between fall & spring semesters).
3. The winner will need to visit UNF's Procurement webpage (/procurement) & select the "Other Payee Registration" to register as a supplier in Workday. If they have any issues registering, they should either visit ³ÉÈË´óƬSupplier Resources/FAQ or email Procurement at supplierhelp@unf.edu.
4. All financial award related questions should be directed to ³ÉÈË´óƬOneStop
5. Student Government will notify the University Development & Alumni Engagement department (UDAE) of the winners. UDAE will then notify the Financial Aid office who will start the award process.

1. There shall be a Campaign Code of Ethics that all students involved with the Homecoming Court process must agree to uphold.
2. The Campaign Code of Ethics shall exist as an accord established between all individuals participating in the Homecoming Court Process, Student Government, and furthermore, the Student Body. 
3. The official Campaign Code of Ethics shall include, but are not limited to, the following provisions:
   • The Student Body President and Student Body Vice President may not submit their candidacy for the Homecoming Court due to a conflict of interest.
   • No person shall misrepresent any material fact(s) through any campaign material(s) or action(s).
   • No person shall misrepresent any campaign material(s) or action(s) as being the property or undertaking of any other candidate.
   • No person shall condone or authorize the destruction or theft of any candidate’s or political party organization’s campaign material(s).
   • No person shall commit written, printed, or verbal
   • No person shall violate any University Policies and Regulations that are in place during the course of the election.
   • No person shall discriminate as defined in Title X 1002.1, “Discrimination shall be defined as the differential treatment of a student or student group solely on the basis of their gender identity or expression, race, ethnicity, creed, color, religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, national origin, marital status, parental status, disability, and any combination thereof, or what is outlined in the University Non- Discrimination, Equal Opportunity, and Diversity Statement.”
4. Candidates are responsible for the actions of other individuals and/or organizations acting on their behalf at the direction of the candidate or political party organizations beyond a reasonable doubt.

Q: What is the Homecoming Court Winners Grant?
A: Two grants of $1,500 each are awarded annually—one to the Homecoming Queen and
one to the Homecoming King. These are one-time payments, not split between semesters.

Q: Can I win more than once?
A: No. Previous King and Queen recipients are not eligible to run again. Winners are
recognized once only.

Q: Who is eligible to apply?
A: To be eligible, you must:

• Be an active ³ÉÈË´óƬstudent enrolled in at least one course (minimum 3 credit hours).

• Be in Good Academic Standing with a minimum institutional GPA of 2.50 or higher for undergraduates, and a 3.0 or higher for graduate students.
• Not be prohibited from participation in Student Government by the ³ÉÈË´óƬStudent Conduct Office.
• Any ³ÉÈË´óƬundergraduate student who meets the listed requirements in the previous section and has 30 institutional credit hours or more. Any ³ÉÈË´óƬgraduate student who has 9 or more institutional credit hours is eligible to apply.

• Confirm you’ve read and understood the Homecoming Policies and Procedures on the Student Government Website.
• Agree not to violate any rules outlined in those policies. Violations may result in disqualification at the discretion of the Homecoming Court Committee.
• Authorize the ³ÉÈË´óƬStudent Government Director or designee to verify your GPA, enrollment status, and conduct eligibility 

Q: Will this affect my financial aid?
A: Possibly. Here’s what you need to know:

• You’ll receive an IRS Form 1099, which reflects non-employment income.
• This grant must be reported on your FAFSA for the appropriate year.
• Your total financial aid, including this grant, cannot exceed your Cost of Attendance at UNF.

A: You must register as a supplier in Workday:

• Visit the ³ÉÈË´óƬProcurement webpage.
