Bachelor of Science (BS) in Astronomy
Join the first cohort as this program launches in Fall 2025! The is an engaging and comprehensive degree that prepares students for a variety of careers. The courses cover a wide range of topics, including the study of celestial objects such as stars, planets, and galaxies, as well as the physical laws that govern the universe. Students gain a strong foundation in mathematics, physics, and computational techniques, essential for understanding and conducting research in astronomy. Additionally, this program offers hands-on experience through observational astronomy and research projects, allowing students to apply their knowledge in practical settings. Master of Science (MS) in Materials Science and Engineering
Physics faculty are part of UNF's interdisciplinary MS degree program in Materials Science and Engineering, which is offered through a partnership between the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Computing, Engineering, and Construction.
