Nutrition and Dietetics Accelerated B.S. to M.S. Program
Students with a major in B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics, DPD concentration, can apply to the accelerated B.S./M.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics program once they achieve junior status in the B.S. program. This accelerated program allows eligible students to earn a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics (Online at the Upper Level), followed by a Master of Science (M.S.) Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics (Fully Online).
Program Timeline
This is a 4+1 program designed to be completed in approximately five years. Students typically complete their undergraduate coursework over four years, with graduate-level courses integrated during their junior and senior years. The undergraduate program is delivered online at the upper level, and the graduate portion is fully online. Graduate coursework begins in the third year and continues through the fifth year.

Students enrolled in the Accelerated Didactic program in Dietetics (DPD) must follow the BS/DPD Nutrition Program Sequencing Schedule.

Additional Admission Criteria
Applicants must complete the form by Sept. 24 prior to completing the official application. Minimum eligibility includes students who:
- Have completed all DPD program prerequisite coursework
- Hold a DPD concentration major
- Hold a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.75
Pre-Screen Application Checklist:
- Resume (1-2 pages max)
- Cover letter (1 page single- or double-spaced)
- Personal statement (1 page single- or double-spaced) detailing academic and professional goals
- In lieu of letters of recommendation, provide names and emails for references whom we will email directly to obtain your recommendation:
- one for a 成人大片faculty member
- one for a non-faculty individual outside UNF
- one for a source of your choice
Once accepted, students must maintain these minimum qualifications for continuation:
- Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 in all BS and MS coursework.
- Students who fail to maintain a 3.0 GPA may still be eligible to earn their BS degree, provided they meet the university’s minimum GPA requirement of 2.0, but they will no longer qualify to continue in the MS program.
- Achieve a grade of “B” or higher in all courses.
- Adhere to the ethical and professional standards outlined by the university, college, department, and program.
