Signage

The Delaney Student Union provides both digital and physical opportunities for event information and campus advertising. These services are available to 成人大片Departments and Student Organizations only.

Digital Signage

  • Dated slides (short-term) are permitted to be posted up to 2 weeks prior to an event and will be deleted the day following the event
  • All long-term slides (without a scheduled ending date) are permitted to be posted for a maximum duration of 1 month. Slides may be resubmitted at this time or new slides for the same organization may be posted. This is to keep the screens new and exciting to view rather than displaying the same slides for months.
  • Slides are viewed one time per loop for a duration of 10 seconds (excluding the daily schedule)
  • Slides must be static images. No animation, audio, or video
  • Slides must fit: Please respect a 5 MB limit on email attachments. Slides should fit the 1920 px by 1080 px size of the screen. In inches it would be 6.4 by 3.6. JPG format only; PNG will not work on the system. Slides may also be submitted in PPT format. If so, the size of the slide must be changed from 4:3 to 16:9 in the Page Setup menu.

Temporary Signage

Temporary Signage Permits may be requested for the purposes outlined in UNF's Signage regulation including promoting and providing directions to events held on campus property, and promoting programs or activities related to the mission of the University, such as recruitment.

Temporary Signage is not meant for general advertising, or pure issue advocacy or viewpoint expression, particularly when such is unrelated to the purpose for which a permit was requested.

Signage Requirements

  • Must be professionally printed.
  • A maximum of twenty (20) signage permits may be approved.
  • Signage must include in a minimum of size twenty-four (24) font, as applicable:
    • Date and location of the meeting/event
    • Name of the organization
    • Title of the meeting/event/program/activity
  • Meetings/events must be posted to the UNF .
    • Signage for any planned reservation not listed on the Calendar of Events may be subject to removal.

Permit Application

Request permits through the 成人大片Marketing and Communications Temporary Signage Approval Request process. Do not use the Primary User Permit Application below.

Primary Users

This application is for Registered Student Organizations, Greek organizations, Student Government agencies, branches, and commissions, Spinnaker Media, 成人大片bargaining units, employee affinity groups, and third-party contractors.

Complete the application below a minimum of five (5) business days prior to the desired date of posting the temporary signage.

 

External Groups

External Groups with a space reservation may request Temporary Signage Permits through the Student Union Facilities Use Agreement process.

Signage Removal

Any signage posted on campus without completion of a Temporary Signage Permit, without receiving permission to post the sign, and without a temporary signage permit sticker, will result in the signage being removed by the Physical Facilities department. Signs are subject to disposal after two (2) weeks.

Posting Boards

The Student Union offers posting boards which are located in the first floor lobbies of Bldgs 58 East and West. 

成人大片departments and organizations may submit posters and flyers which advertise their programs and events. Posters and flyers that follow the guidelines below must be delivered for approval to the Student Union Administration Office in Bldg 58 East, Room 1302, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Approved submissions will be posted on Tuesday and Thursday by 5 p.m. 

  • Maximum of two (2) posters per event or announcement 
  • Maximum size of 11”x17”
  • Advertisement must be for initiatives sponsored by 成人大片Student Organizations or Departments 
  • Posters advertising events will be posted no earlier than two (2) weeks prior to the event 
  • Announcements may remain on the bulletin boards for two (2) weeks

All requests for posting in other buildings on campus should be directed to contact the dean/director of the department housed in that building.
