The USoar Program at 成人大片

What is USoar?

The 成人大片 Silverfield College of Education and Human Services proudly introduces USoar, a Florida Postsecondary Comprehensive Transition Program (FPCTP) designed for 成人大片students with intellectual disabilities (ID). Supported by a generous $1.5 million, three-and-a-half-year grant from the Florida Center for Students with Unique Abilities (FCSUA), USoar is dedicated to offering comprehensive support and enriching opportunities to a cohort of up to 20 students during each three-year cycle. FCSUA provides technical assistance and programmatic guidance to postsecondary programs across the state, helping institutions like 成人大片expand access and opportunities for students with intellectual disabilities.

Through USoar, students have the opportunity to explore and develop independent living and career-relevant skills that support learning and prepare them for future success. Students engage fully in campus life, including student-sponsored clubs and organizations, experiential learning, university coursework, and a wide variety of activities and events—all with the goal of fostering personal growth, learning, and sustained employment.
